The Extra Virgin Olive Oil "Pinzimolio" is obtained from the first cold press of olives collected at the beginning of the harvest, at partial ripening. This gives to this oil a fresh perfume and a delicate fruity taste, which makes it ideal for seasoning all types of fresh vegetables (celery, fennel, radishes, artichokes, carrots, tomatoes, cuccumber, peppers…) and is excellent for making pinzimonio (from which it derives its name): a typical Italian apertizer - delightfully simple yet delicious dip for crisp fresh vegetable "crudites" consisting of olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
"Pinzimolio" is bottled "mosto" (unfiltered), just as it comes from the mills, giving it a distinctive cloudy-opalescent green colour.
Each bottle comes with a cork pourer.
